While I would love to upgrade my entire network to 10gb, home routers that support it are not very reasonable yet.
However, my motherboard came with the NIC, so why not install it?

There was a card and a manual.

The manual suggests installing into a 4x slot. For this board, that makes the last slot your most economical choice.
